2011.04.09 Governor McWherter Memorial Service
Governor Ned Ray McWherter, Tennessee's 46th Governor, was celebrated during a memorial service at War Memorial Auditorium on April 9, 2011.
Music was provided by the String Faculty of the Blair School of Music and the Fisk Jubilee Singers.
Eulogy was given by Michael Ray McWherter, son of Governor McWherter.
Speakers included Billy Stair, Governor McWherter's Senior Policy Advisor; Vice President Al Gore, Jr. and President Bill Clinton.
The sermon was offered by David Gregory, Former Chief of Staff with closing prayer led by Bishop William Wesley Morris.
